Zippers are placed throughout the item. A full circumferential zipper at the waist allows the jacket to be removed from pants, making the suit legal on all racing tracks.

Other key features include patches for attaching knee pucks, pre-curved sleeves for proper riding position, and perforated leather on the sleeves, sides of the jacket, and behind the knees to keep the rider cool. Removable dual density armor at knees, shoulders, and elbows provides added protection.
